Delete your account & data

Option 1 — Delete your entire account and data

To permanently delete your account and its associated data, send a deletion request from the email address on your account to support@veritaslawai.com with the subject line “Delete my account.”

Please include:

• The email address associated with your VeritasLaw AI account, and
• A brief statement that you want your account and data deleted.

We verify that the request comes from the account owner, then delete your account. We process deletion requests within 30 days.

Option 2 — Delete specific data without closing your account

You can delete parts of your data yourself, at any time, while keeping your account:

• Saved profile — go to Profile and delete your saved autofill details (name, address, phone). Deletion takes effect immediately.
• Documents and matters — delete individual guided-form sessions and matters from My Documents / Matters.
• Uploaded files — delete any photos or documents you attached to a matter from that matter's Documents & evidence list. Deleting a matter also permanently deletes the files you uploaded to it.

What is deleted

When you delete your account, we delete:

• Your account and login credentials;
• Your saved profile (name, mailing address, phone number, email);
• Your matters and guided-form answers, including the case facts and party names you entered, and any documents generated from them.
• Any files you uploaded to a matter (photos and documents such as leases, pay stubs, or evidence), including the stored copies of those files.

What is kept, and for how long

We may retain a limited set of records after deletion where the law requires it or for legitimate business purposes — for example, transaction and payment records (retained by our payment processor, Stripe, and by us as required by tax and accounting rules). These records are kept only as long as required and are not used to re-identify or contact you for marketing. We do not sell your personal information.
